  Debra Gonzalez is an Agency Business Consultant/Registered Principal, and a graduate of St. Martins University, where she earned her degree in Business with a minor in Marketing. She is wicked smart! Debra is also fluent in Spanish. Her knowledge of Farmers® processes and systems gives our new and existing agents another excellent resource to help them in their Farmers Careers.

  Prior to becoming an Agency Business Consultant for District 10, I was a successful Owner/Agent for five years. I graduated from the Western Washington University- B.A. /Law and Diversity and the University of Washington- Masters Degree/Social Work. As a successful Agent I received awards for Exceptional performance in insurance sales and service to policyholders include American Family AFLIC, 2 times; All American, 4 times; Consecutive All Americans, 4 times, Life diamond, 1 time, and J.D. Powers and Associates Distinguished Insurance Agency Award for customer service. For the past 20 years I have worked in management and training capacities and bring a wealth of knowledge in what it takes to become a successful agency owner. With my experience I also bring a great attitude and the ability to build relationships that foster a good work environment.

  Starlene Grochowicz

  District Agency Training Manager AAI, AIT, AIS, ACSR

  Starlene Grochowicz is the District Personal Lines Trainer and IT person. She has been in the insurance industry since 1995 and has earned several insurance designations - Accredited Adviser in Insurance, Associate in Information Technology, Associate in Insurance Services, Accredited Customer Service Representative in Commercial and Personal Lines as well as having earned her 2-year degree in Computer Network Engineering from Pierce College. Starlene helps the new agents and staff get a jump on their new careers by teaching them how to navigate Farmers® systems as well as how to translate insurance coverages to clients. Existing agents also benefit from her help whenever they run into underwriting or technology issues. Your success is her top priority!
